I’m going to have to get some help from my cohorts on Mt. Hood – I’ve spent a lot of time at Elk Lake in the (fast approaching distant) past, a couple years hiking around Wildwood (in the same timeframe), a few visits to Timberline, got snowed in at Breitenbush one winter in the middle of some sort of mushroom festival, and, just last month, took a jaunt up to Timothy Lake (above), but for as close as we are, my total hours on the mountain are ridiculously low.

HowEVER, we have a couple snow hounds in the bunch, so we’ll get a good triangulation going here.
