Larch Mountain

Just this summer, I started exploring Larch Mountain.  I’d been up to the top in the past, but it’s been many years, and I’d never done any tromping around in the lower regions.  We had such uninterrupted great weather this summer into fall, that all our usual stomping grounds on the river side were overrun with humans, so the dogs and I decided (okay, I decided.  The dogs just sat in the back panting heavily in concern as we turned away from our third usual spot) to go see if we could find someplace on Larch, and heck if we didn’t find a great hike that fully sufficed to get us through the time away from the river.

Pictures and stories follow any minute now.
