The first permanent public spaces installation of The Mirror Project was installed at the Comfort Inn Columbia Gorge Gateway in Troutdale, Oregon on October 31st, 2012. The forty Mirrors chosen for this installation are all sourced within twenty miles of the hotel on the Sandy River, Sandy River Delta, and Columbia Gorge trails.

The installation is designed to be fluid, with the first hanging featuring fall and winter images of the local environment. On May 1st, 2013, the installation will shift to spring and summer images.
